3 - Why did you disappear in thin air?

Balthazar laughed. He seemed a bit comforted by what Kalyan had said, about him not being like his older brother. "Foolish?", he asked, raising a brow as he got dressed. "How so?"

"He seemed a clever guy", Dean agreed. "Well, I only met him once. But that's the impression he gave me, so..." He scratched his head. "While the clever one in our family is Sam, I guess. He is really good at his courses. I think he'll do great at his exams." He sounded very proud!

"Remember when we were at university, and we came across the theatre club? Remember when you jumped on stage to declaim some Shakespeare, being all dramatic, then you bowed and you left like a king?" Kalyan laughed at that memory. Typical of Balthazar. "Yes, foolish"

"Well you are clever too" Castiel frowned a bit. "I mean people with higher grades are not more clever or... You just hate studies, while Sam is very good at"

"Oh, now that you mention it", Balthazar commented candidly, hiding a smile. "It was a piece from Othello, I remember. But it just demonstrates that I have a flair for the dramatic. ... and maybe that I am a bit foolish, yes", he surrendered in the end, with a small chuckle. Then something struck him. "You have good memory!"

"That's true, I guess", Dean sighed. "I have always been better at doing stuff with my own bare hands than learning anyway. I am made that way!"

Kalyan raised a brow, surprised. "Well first, how can i forget that? Second : yes. I have an excellent memory and I use that against my enemies" ** ZBAF **

"But that is very good" Castiel smiled to him. "I mean I'm useless when manual labour is involved. I can't even read a map!"

Balthazar laughed. "Well. I sure hope to never be on the wrong side of that excellent memory of yours, because I have done and said so many embarrassing things in your presence, that you could use against me! Like that time I had drank a bit too much and I decided to take a bath, fully dressed, into the college camp fountain."

Dean snorted. "Well - thankfully for you they invented Google Maps", he smiled at Castiel, raising his eyebrows. "I am only good at manual labour, on the other side. I can distinguish different car models' engines, but for the love of God do not ask me what is a Capybara, or what medicine is good for headache!"

"I still have NO idea why you thought it was a brilliant idea!" Kalyan laughed again, remembering how much he had struggled to bring Balthazar out of that fountain

"....But how do you know the word Capybara exactly." That was an excellent question! How can you say a word without knowing what it is. HOW

"Three words for you, dear: too much wine", Balthazar chuckled. "Thankfully, I've built a far superior tolerance to alcohol over he years. So it won't happen again, that you have to drag me all the way home from a fountain. Promise", he added with a wink.

Dean raised a finger and opened his mouth. Then he frowned. And closed it. "... I dunno", he admitted. "I think I played a videogame that named it. It probably explained it as well, but honestly I completely forgot." He remembered the name because it sounded funny.

"I won't bet on that" Kalyan said, elbowing him. "Or maybe you will do worse, like going in a plane, fell asleep and end in South Africa or whatever"

"...You're weird too, sometimes" Castiel said, pleased by the thought. Not only him was weird. "Also it's an animal, if you want to know"

"Ok, that never happened. You're just trying to make me pass off as a crazy man", Balthazar laughed, elbowing him back. "Even though I'll admit I did take a plane for Monaco once, while I was drunk. But I did have an excuse - I knew I had a brother staying there for a weekend!" Yes. It was Gabriel. Gabriel and his pornstars.

"Yes, but what kind of animal? Will I ever wake up and find it scour my fridge at night like a raccoon? Will I ever get one under my car if I am not careful enough? Do I have to be scared of it?", Dean protested, seemingly very passionate about this. THOSE ARE VERY IMPORTANT QUESTIONS!

"What Castiel was doing in Monaco?" Kalyan asked, quite intrigued. Well he did know about Gabriel but he couldn't guess Balthazar went there to see PORNSTARS

"....." Castiel bursted of laughing, because yes he was so passionnate it was fun! "Dean, you have a phone with internet on it! Why don't you check!"

"Oh, not Castiel. Gabriel", Balthazar replied. "He bought a place all for himself, there. Apparently it's a good place if you want to hide away for a while and have a bit of privacy", he added. Yeah, he probably better not mention the pornstars. Not that he had done anything with them, but he doubted Kalyan would have believed him!

"Well, I always foget to look", Dean protested. "It always comes to my mind at weird times, when I cannot check my phone or when it's turned off." The Capybara will always stay a mystery.

"...Gabriel..." Kalyan dived into thoughts, but somehow, he couldn't remember what that brother was doing in his life. "...He must be rich too" ** ZBAF **

Castiel laughed again. "One day, I will show you a picture, and I will explain everything about it to you. But not now. It would be too easy"

"Well... he is, yes. He is quite requested in his field", Balthazar answered uneasily, trying to remain as vague as possible. "He is well off, though. And we both intend to use this to help our little brother out." He paused. "After all, it's the least we can do. We have been quite absent lately."

Dean snorted. "Yeah, yeah, alright. But enough about weird animals." He got a bit of composure back, not knowing if he could ask about something that personal. "How is... how's your father? Sam told me he got divorced?"

"...But I thought your brother still had debts. I mean he did make a student loan for his studies" Kalyan frowned a bit. "Maybe you were not aware?"

"..." Castiel nodded, a bit surprised by the question. "Well it was a good thing. My mother cannot accept gay people. And he got really mad at her for throwing Balthazar away"

"He does." Balthazar sighed, and frowned. "He should have asked at least Gabriel for help. I know I was unreachable, but Gabe wasn't." He shook his head. "We decided we will pay off his loan. And I already found him an apartment in town. If he will like it, I'll get it for him."

Dean blinked. "So that is what happened", he mused. "I had wondered why your broher had run away. No lie, I was thinking that maybe your older broher had scared him away or something." Well, Lucifer could totally scare off people!

"Well Castiel wanted to do it on his own, it's quite admirable" Kalyan had a smile while glancing at Balthazar. "And I'm sure you are very proud of him"

"...No, Lucien was on our side, to be honest" Castiel shrugged. "Maybe because it would annoy our mom? I don't know. Truth is, I cut ties with her too. She cannot accept me either"

"I am", Balthazar answered with no hesitation, smiling to himself. "And if he will insist, we'll let him pay off his loans by himself. I just... want him to know I'll be there to help him, if he needs."

Dean frowned. "Why? Because you're gay, too?" He shook his head. He seemed pissed. "How can a parent do that? Your mother is a terrible person. You and your brother deserve to be accepted!"

"Oh come on, just pay for him and don't let him protest!" Kalyan laughed and went with him to change back. "Be the reliable big brother you wish and spoil this brat!"

"...I'm gay?" Castiel asked, quite surprised. Because he was not talking about that. And he never really thought about that

Balthazar laughed. "Yeah, you're right - I should just do that. I don't really know what to do with all the money I have anyway." He hummed, tapping his chin as he walked at Kalyan's side. "Do you have anything left off to pay on your side?"  BAF 

"... well you... didn't you say your mother couldn't accept you either?" Dean felt suddenly embarrassed about making that assumption. "I just thought... well..." He paused, scratching his neck. "Nevermind", he finally blurted. Feeling weirdly... upset about the fact.

"No and you're my client anyway, you will pay me at the end of the month" Kalyan added, quite amused. "If you want to give us a tip, that is always welcome"

"Because I'm siding with Balthazar and dad..." Castiel crossed his arms, deep in thoughts. "...Maybe I am gay. I should check it" ** ZBAF **

"Hm. I'll think about leaving a tip. If the service will be... worth it", Balthazar teased him, smirking. He let his eyes wander meaningfully over Kalyan's muscled chest, winked at him, and went to get dressed.

Dean raised his brows, surprised that Castiel would say that so candidly! "What do you mean, you should check it?", he asked, a bit shocked. "And - you never wondered before about... who you like, and stuff?" He was trying to ask it as politely as he could, not wanting to offend his friend about his inexperience!

"...That sounds so dirty when you say it and I don't get why" Kalyan rolled his eyes and got dressed too. "Ok! Wanna buy something to eat on the way?"

"I refused to think of it. I couldn't with my family suffering that much" Castiel grumbled. "And I will just think of it. I'm not going to hit on everyone"

"That would be because I mean for it to be dirty!", Balthazar exclaimed, fixing the last details of his clothes (he liked to leave some buttons undone, it was part of his own personal look). "Sure, by the way. Where are you going to take me? Know any good place?"

Dean hummed, understanding. "I see. Well, do whatever you wish to", he simply said. "I mean, I am not here to teach you how to explore your... sexuality. That's personal, I guess. But I am ready to help if needed!" Welp, that sounded a bit dirty.

Kalyan squinted at the first comment. But hey, what did he expect! "I know a good indian one. Are you tempted by curry?"

"... That sounds a bit dirty" Castiel said, though a bit flustered. "How... would you help me on that?"

"It's been a long time since the last time I had some decent indian food", Balthazar sighed. "I do like curry. I'll let you lead the way", he added with a smile. He was tempted to lean in and grab Kalyan's arm, but he lacked the courage right now. Maybe another time!

Dean finally got it through his mind that what he said could indeed sound dirty, and flushed slightly. He looked away, scratching his chin nervously. "I... well, I don't know. Friends can help you out when you're trying to understand yourself better, that's it!"
