2 - Why do you you know what I'm done with you

Balthazar laughed at that remark. "Oh for God's sake, no, nothing like that", he said in between chuckles. "I would have been scarred for life. ... even though I sadly caught sight of a serie of DVDs where he starred. Now, that is a memory I'd rather not have. But well, actually, he announced it to the whole family, so..." He ran a hand through his short, dark blonde hair.

"...I cannot imagine how the others reacted, I can only guess very bad!" Kalyan laughed. It was more comic than tragic, let's be fair! "And among all those people, your little bro grew and became so innocent and pure. That's a miracle"

"Well, my mother had an hysterical crisis. And everything was kind of a mess. You can imagine that it made family dinner quite... awkward", Balthazar chuckled, happy to see Kalyan was at least having fun. "But of course Castiel came up well. Our older brothers were too old to have an impact on him, and he grew up surprisingly well." He sighed. "I like to think I had a role in that too."

"You protected him from porn videos?" Kalyan joked, elbowing him. "He looks so innocent that I feel all my sins being erased even talking about him"

"Something like that~" Balthazar laughed, elbowing Kalyan back right away. "What? Does that mean you have sins to erase? I am not sure I believe that, you know!" Of course, since he was mostly imagining that kind of sin, he didn't believe Kalyan could have that.

Kalyan raised a brow, surprised. "What, you think I'm pure and innocent? I'm a boy too, I was a teenager. I got my hormonal periods like everyone" He said without a shame

Balthazar blinked. Well, wasn't Kalyan open about that. "No, I just thought you wouldn't be half as open about it", he admitted, a bit ashamed of having been so quick to judge. He smiled soon again though. "So, was it boys or girls?", he teased him a bit.

"..." Kalyan did look a bit away, a bit embarrassed. "It... did not really matter. It was more... how people were?"

"That's quite alright", Balthazar said candidly. "I think that's a good thing. Me, I've always leant more towards boys", he added without shame. He did let his eyes wander on Kalyan for a brief moment, though.

"Boys or men?" Kalyan asked a true question! "I mean... I never felt attracted to boys, to be honest. Like teenagers. But mature guys, not childish"

"Oh, on that, definitely men", Balthazar answered with no hesitation. "Teens are definitely too stupid. I have a thing for more mature men. Not childish ones, as you said." He raised a brow, then smiled at Kalyan. "Do you think I am mature, by chance?", he asked casually, flirting a bit.

"Yeah of course!" Kalyan laughed a bit to hide his embarrassment. "I mean... the more you'll go in life, I bet the more you'll be... magnetic"

Balthazar hid a surprisingly happy grin behind a casual gesture of his hand. "Well. That's good to know", he said. "It means after my studies are done and I work for some years I'll maybe have all I need to flirt properly with you~" He winked at Kalyan.

"...." Kalyan tilted his head, a bit curious. "You would like to flirt with me? Even if I'm looking a bit like a woman? I thought you liked men"

"... you look like a woman?" Balthazar sounded honestly confused. "Um, I don't mean to offend, but if a woman had those broad shoulders you have, she wouldn't be my type. Your broad shoulders, on the other hand. I am very interested in." He grinned flirtariously at Kalyan. "I really don't think you look like a woman, sorry."

"...Well first, thank you" Kalyan did have a relieved smile on his lips. Yet he felt a bit... unsure about the other part. "Balth'? Are you really trying to flirt with me, being...serious?"

Balthazar raised a brow. "I suppose that depends on what you mean for serious?", he asked kindly. Well, he did like Kalyan. He liked him a lot. He didn't know if he wanted a stable relationship just now - but maybe trying to actually date would be... nice?

"I mean not like you saying that and tomorrow, you disappear" Kalyan said, quite...amused. "Because you wouldn't like to see me pissed off"

Balthazar laughed at that. "Oh, I would never", he answered, quite amused. "Not with those sword fighting skills you have!" He chuckled again. "I promise, if I had to go away tomorrow, you'd be the first to know." He sounded sincere.

"I sure hope" Kalyan frowned a bit. "See, before everything, you're a very good friend. And that's something I really value." But if Balthazar wanted to be more, he'd have to been a bit pushier

Balthazar held back a smile. "It makes me happy, that you think that." But it was clear he would have indeed need to be a bit pushier. He leant in a bit, and reached for Kalyan's hand. "It would make me happier though, if you considered me as a potential date", he purred looking straight into his eyes. He left some space, though, in case Kalyan wanted to back off.

"... What if I could?" Kalyan answered after thinking a bit. It was surprising even for him, but the idea of going out with someone like Balthazar was... appealing. So he didn't back off, on the contrary

Balthazar blinked, his face this time betraying his surprise. "... you would?", he asked, honestly not believing his ears. Or his luck. He managed to get a grip of himself, though. "So you... would maybe say yes, if I asked you out for your next free evening? Can I hope?", he murmured, hand finally touching Kalyan's, fingers entwining with his.

"You sure can hope" Kalyan said without any hesitation. Because the way Balthazar looked at him, with such hope and happiness... granted, he felt good, a warm feeling inside his chest

Balthazar's look was definitely one if happuness and hope right now. He gently held Kalyan's hand as he spoke, "Then let me invite you out on your next free day." His smile got a bit more mischevious and flirty. "I would definitely love to ask you if you'd let me kiss you now, but I would rather not be punched - I like my face as it is", he joked, winking. "And I'd prefer to romance you a bit, first. I like our friendship, I don't want to lose whatever respect you have for me."
