1 - Have you seen this dork?

Asterius, once again, was left a little speechless. He hadn't be outright asked to be 'friends' since... elementary school, probably? He observed Theseus as he got dressed, buttoning up his pants. Well - it wasn't bad in his book, really. It just meant they had skipped all that awkward small-talking bits and went straight up to at least acquaintance level.
Good. He could deal with that, he guessed. "Sure", he shrugged. "Should we exchange phone numbers, or?"

Spike had risen on his hind legs, barking a little, tail wagging like crazy - as if to say I AM THE GOOD BOY! - before accepting the biscuit.
Horknath held back a smile. That was very cute. "There", he offered her a wipe. "For the drool." He noticed a curl of her hair had escaped her fancy ponytail, and was now hanging on her cheek. Out of sheer instinct, he carefully raised his hand to tuck it behind her ear.
He'd probably have imploded once he'd realize that.

"Oh, yes, that's a good idea!" Theseus grinned and took out his phone. Since he had showered, there was no more concealer around his left eye and it looked a little blue-red-yellowish around the edges. A detail that might get noticed, given how much he invaded Asterius' space while giving him his number. "Hey while we're at it, can I take a picture for my instagram? It's the first time one of my challenges ends on a draw, I think it'll amuse my followers!"

Carleen let out a shy smile and took the wipe Horknath was giving her to clean her hands. "Hey. Come here," she said, gesturing for him to lean towards her just a bit, so that she could raise on her tiptoes and kiss his cheek.

Asterius did indeed notice the darkened skin under Theseus' left eye. Huh, he was pretty sure it hadn't been there before - but surely it couldn't have been a result of their match. It had formed far too quickly. "... if you want", he conceded when the other man asked to take a picture, sounding a little unsure. "You have a bruise. Under your left eye", he added then, thinking that maybe the other man should've known about it beforehand.

Horknath had leaned down when Carleen had called for him, thinking that maybe she wanted to show him something - or ask for another wipe. But then, when her lips softly pressed against his cheek, he froze. And then he flushed, instantly straightening up. "Uh- I- thanks", he blurted out, clearly embarrassed.

"Hm? Oh, this!" Theseus shrugged, and browsed through his phone before he showed him a selfie of himself grinning, shirtless, and certainly not too long after that blow. "That was last week. I gave boxing a try after a long time. Thankfully I had my balm, and it didn't swell much. I don't think I'll put concealer on it for our picture, don't worry. I know I look dashing anyway." He turned on the camera of his phone, gestured for Asterius to move closer and took a picture of the two of them, on which he was grinning like a kid before Christmas. "Aaaand done!"

Carleen was still smiling shyly. Too soon then, perhaps. Still, she was thankful for everything Horknath had been or done so far. "No, thank you. I had a great time. Aside from, well. Anything induced by my brother."

It was very difficult for Asterius to try and pinpoint Theseus with a precise description. Was he vain, wasn't he? Was he goofy or just really playing the part?
In the picture he was probably just staring at the other man, a brow lifted, looking as confused as ever.
He just shrugged a bit in the end, as he shoved his dirty clothes and wet towel in his sportsbag. In the end it wasn't as if Theseus' confidence - in both his strength and his looks - was out of place or exaggerated, so he didn't really mind.

Horknath shook himself out of his embarrassment and smiled sheepishly at her. "I had a great time too. Can't wait for Friday", he confessed, before he could stop himself. Even though for now he hadn't worked the courage to kiss her cheek back, he still reached for her hand to hold it.

Theseus typed something on his phone and posted the picture on his instagram, before he finally went back to the lockers to retrieve his bag. "So! We'll keep in touch and see when I can come and watch you train at rugby, or for our next rematch?" He smiled at Asterius, leaving the building with him.

Carleen nodded with a smile, and gently squeezed Horknath's hand back. "Yeah, me too." She turned around since she heard her brother, and sighed. "If you feel like texting me until then... feel free to do so, alright?"

Asterius nodded with a grunt. By now, Theseus had probably gotten the clue that he wasn't a great conversationalist - more of a listener, in fact. "Sure", he added then.

Horknath hadn't really realized both their brothers had come out of the building yet - he was way too concentrated on Carleen still. "Alright", he answered with a little smile. Before his attention got grabbed by her stray lock again, and he gingerly swiped it behind her ear again.

Theseus was indeed quite comfortable around Asterius, sensing that he was quite the listener. And like he was, well, he always appreciated a good listener.
Once outside, he cleared his throat and called out to Carleen, breaking the moment without even realizing it.

For Carleen had leaned towards Horknath, still holding his hand in hers, but found herself sighing and inching back when she heard her brother. "I'll see you on Friday, then."

Horknath had been leaning a little towards Carleen when she had inched closer, holding his breath as if he was scared to ruin everything with the slightest movement.
He sighed too when she distanced herself from him, and offered her a little smile. "Sure. I... I'll text you", he added, letting go of her hand.

Asterius waited next to Theseus, wanting to reach for his brother only once Carleen would step away so that he wouldn't overwhelm them.

Carleen smiled at Horknath, conveying just how reluctant she was to go. She crouched by Spike's side to pet his head, and then stood back up. "See you on Friday, then!" She walked towards her brother, who too bid Asterius a good evening before he and his sister exchanged a few words, walking away together.

Asterius bid a good evening to both Theseus and Carleen before walking up to Horknath - where he petted Spike, who looked overjoyed to see his 'uncle' and exchanged a few, teasing remarks over Horknath finally getting a girlfriend.
Horknath proceeded to stumble over his words all the way home, and to protest that Asterius was just trying to embarrass him - but he never contradicted him, nor he managed to get that goofy smile to disappear from his face.
