"...Wait, you mean that if it was raining, I'd still be out of my tent, trying to eat under the rain ?" Yvan whined, clearly not okay with that.

"Maybe not out of the tent, but without any fire for sure", Horknath told him, getting up to put the tent away. He was used to that kind of life; with his parents, he had started being nomad since the very day he was born.

"... Well maybe I'll find myself a nice town to live in in the end," Yvan sighed.
"If you find a town that'll want you," Valdyr answered with a dry laugh.

Horknath packed everything up and raised from the ground. "Yeah, I'd be careful if I were you", he said. "People do not take too kindly on... diversity. May it be a pair of tusks, the colour of your skin or a demon partying in your brain."

Yvan sighed. "So that's why you'd rather travel?" he asked Horknath, quite curious. "Because you're scared you wouldn't fit anywhere?"

Horknath abruptly stilled. He looked at Yvan. "Let me get one thing straight, boy", he almost growled. "I am not scared about not fitting. I know I don't fit anywhere. Wherever I go, I am ostracized. Humans? They find me disgusting because I am half an orc. Orcs, they think I am too weak to survive one day in a tribe. Do your math, and tell me where I should settle", he finished, closing himself in silence.

Yvan had hoped his head would have been able to disappear between his shoulders. Instead, he had just made himself as tiny as he could, only realizing now that he had pulled a sensitive string. "I, erh, I'm sorry," he said in a lower, shy voice. "I didn't mean to offend you."

Horknath pinched the bridge of his nose. "Just... think, before you speak", he told him, crossing his arms. "Tell me when you're ready to go", he added, gruffly.

Yvan nodded, and then quickly finished his bowl.
"I'm ready," Valdyr answered, as he had taken his bags, and cleaned his cooking pan. "I think we should hurry, I feel like it's going to rain this afternoon."

Horknath sniffed the air. "Yes, totally gonna rain. Let's get on a move", he said, grabbing his bag. "If we are lucky, we'll get there before the sky gets cloudy."
